NEW PARENTS

Within walking distance of downtown Millheim is a treasure, a pool at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Park, affectionately known as the Millheim Pool.  A place where friends gather, the heat dissipates in the cool water, and memories are made.  This pool is the host of the Penns Valley Swim Team.  They're a team of kids whose love of water has them spending their days growing stronger, improving themselves, and building friendships.  Though 2026 finds us at Rec Park Pool in Lewistown, we still do all the wonderful things that makes this team so special!

 

We would love to have your child join our waddle of Penguins!  Please make sure your child:

 

    ☑ is 4 years old by June 1.

    ☑ can make it down the pool without an adult in the pool. 

    ☑ does not panic in deep water.

 

If your kiddo cannot do these things, they may need lessons for another season and try again next year.  Sometimes, parents think they can do these things but aren’t entirely sure.  We are unable to do evaluations this summer, so please reach out to Coach Stephanie at coachpvpenguins@gmail.com if you are unsure.

 

If you sign up for the team and your swimmer turns out not to be ready, you will get refunded and we hope you’ll invest the money into swim lessons.  We cannot refund swimsuits, so please only purchase swimsuits early if you are certain of their ability.
